Today, I FINALLY received my confirmation email about my acceptance into the overseas program! I can't believe it! According to the email, my first day in my school will be August 24th and they suggest traveling around August 17th. My last day in my placement will be December 4th which will put me back in the states in time for my birthday (Dec. 8th) and graduation (Dec. 12th)! I just emailed my Australian coordinator, Dr. John Happs, about a few of the specifics and will share the details when I get them. I do know that I am placed in Hocking Primary School for my student teaching. I cannot wait to go Down Under!
