Full Stop

Today was a very busy day at school. I guess on Wednesdays the kids make up for the time they are out of the classroom on Mondays and Tuesdays. I did learned a new term today. I was helping one little girl create a Powerpoint (yes, I know, a Powerpoint... these kids are hi-tech) and I told her to add a period at the end. She just paused and said to me with her Australian accent, "A what?" I told her again to add a period and she still looked at me with confusion. I finally just told her to put a dot at the end, and then she said, "Ohhh, a full stop." They call a period a full stop! I had to think about her response for awhile and then it kind of made sense. I was later telling the teachers about it and they thought I was referring to a monthly visitor for a woman and were disgusted. I had a good laugh.

I am really ready for the weather to warm up here. I brought few winter clothes and I really don't like wearing the same outfit twice in one week. I hope to get out to shop this weekend!
